So, I got this as a gift, but I was excited try since I do enjoy the Nectar D’Or.
Nose – Faint hints of fresh cut grass.
Taste – Creamy, buttery, and watery – almost sweet.
Finish – It comes fast with a peppery aftertaste in the back of the throat. A slightly cinnamon note lingers the center of the tongue. The finish mellows as the drink goes on and whole experience becomes pleasanter.
Like nearly all whiskies, I wish the finish didn’t come on so quickly. But I am impressed. I think I need to start adding a few droplets of water to my whiskies to open them up when tasting.
